St. Angelo Airport in Enniskillen will turn pink on Sunday, 28th September, 2025 as Cancer Focus NI hosts its first ever Pink 5K fun run in Fermanagh.

The family-friendly event, held during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, will raise vital funds for the charity’s new Therapeutic Cancer Support Centre in Enniskillen. The Centre provides counselling, family support, specialist groups, and fittings for women affected by breast cancer. All money raised from the run will stay local to support services in the community.

As a proud sponsor, Encirc is standing alongside Cancer Focus NI to make the event possible. Colleagues from Encirc will also take part on the day, joining hundreds of participants to run, jog, or walk while being showered in pink powder.

Fiacre O’Donnell, Sustainability Director at Encirc, said: “Cancer touches so many families across our community, and at Encirc we believe it’s important to stand with them. Supporting Cancer Focus NI and the Fermanagh Cancer Support Centre is something we deeply value. The Pink Run is going to be a fun, family day for a serious cause, and we’re delighted to play our part.”

Maeve Colgan, Director of Fundraising and Communications at Cancer Focus NI, expressed her gratitude: “We are thrilled to host our very first Pink Run in Enniskillen and to bring one of our most loved events to this area. The local community has embraced our work with incredible generosity, and we can’t wait to celebrate with everyone on the day.”

Encirc is sponsoring the Pink Run alongside Pilgrims Europe and Balcas, reflecting a strong community commitment to helping local women and families facing a breast cancer diagnosis.

Registration is now open for individuals, families, schools, groups, and workplaces to sign up and take part in this unique event. To buy your tickets for the Pink Run or to organise your own Go Pink Fundraiser, visit cancerfocusni.org, email fundraising@cancerfocusni.org or call 028 9066 3281.
