Encirc has proudly sponsored an art competition at St. Aidan’s High School in Derrylin, celebrating the outstanding talents of students across 1st to 5th years.

The event, which showcased the creativity and passion of young artists, culminated in the selection of 10 outstanding pieces of artwork from a wide array of impressive entries.
Site Director, Mark Haughey, had the difficult job of selecting the final selection, personally choosing the 10 exceptional pieces as well as the top three winners.
The winners of the competition were:

1st Place: Rían McCaffrey
2nd Place: Claire Maguire
3rd Place: Julie Murphy

The top three winners were awarded special gifts in recognition of their exceptional talent, but all 10 selected pieces are considered winners. These pieces will be mounted and prominently showcased around the Encirc site.
This event highlights the importance of fostering creativity and encouraging artistic expression among young people. It also reflects Encirc’s commitment to supporting local communities and providing platforms for students to showcase their talents.

Site Director Mark Haughey said: “The talent throughout all the entries was of the highest order. It was an incredibly difficult task to narrow down into a top ten never mind a top three. Well done to everyone who took part, your artistic flair is exceptional.”
