It has been a remarkable time for Encirc recently winning six awards across three different ceremonies, all in the space of a week!

This included the prestigious accolade of being crowned Manufacturer of the Year at The Manufacturer MX Awards 2024.

The Titanic Hotel in Liverpool was the venue for this year’s awards, and we kicked things off by winning the Supply Chain Excellence and Operational Excellence Awards, showing the outstanding jobs everybody at Encirc is doing in these respected corners of the business.

Then, our very own Sam Bennington picked up the Young Manufacturer of the Year award, an unbelievable achievement for the work he is putting in at our site in Elton in the Beverages section.

To crown a great night, we scooped the coveted Manufacturer of the Year Award! A truly incredible achievement to win such a prize on the night. Overall, we came away from Liverpool with four awards, an outstanding evening for everyone associated with the company, truly showing how we are the pioneers of our industry.

On the same night, our Recruitment team took to the capital, London, where they picked up the Gold Newcomer accolade at the IHR In-House recruitment awards!

This was for their determined efforts in bringing all recruitment in-house to Encirc. On top of this, they also created a Careers Brochure and attended countless Careers Fairs while also launching social media campaigns to bring the best quality people to Encirc.

The awards did not stop there as the Glass Focus Awards hosted by British Glass took place in Leeds.

On the night itself, we picked up the Marketing Impact Award, this was in collaboration with our fantastic partners ArmstrongB2B, for our sustainability themed video focused on all the things Encirc is doing to make glass the low carbon packaging of choice. It was also used to support Hynet’s lobbying to bring Hydrogen to the region.

Faiz Davenport, who is currently on our Graduate Training Programme in Elton, was highly commended for the Rising Star Award, showcasing the brilliant work he is doing in Encirc Glass.

At Encirc, a Vidrala Group company, we pride ourselves on our hard work, collaboration and innovation all year around, and there is no better feeling than being recognised by our peers.

These accolades are a further endorsement of all that we do and strive to do at Encirc across our three sites.

Here’s to more continued success in 2025.
