Encirc wins Diversity Excellence accolade at Diageo awards

Encirc has been recognised for making its business inclusive and welcoming to all after winning the Diversity Excellence Award at Diageo’s 2024 Supplier and Agency Excellence Awards.

Managing Director Sean Murphy has said the win is “a ringing endorsement” for the value that everyone at Encirc puts on equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI).

The virtual ceremony on Tuesday, November 29th saw the world’s leading premium drinks company Diageo honour some of its key partners and suppliers.

Some of the initiatives that Encirc has introduced to its business, and which may have caught the eye of the judges are:

• An accessibility survey and plan to look at adapting facilities and processes at all our sites to support those with physical, visual and neurodivergent impairments to support them in the workplace
• Being an active member of the Sisters-In Leadership programme for young girls in Northern Ireland
• Pioneering for the larger intervention required for the manufacturing industry
• Forming a Women in Manufacturing Committee and being a great example of creating an inclusive and diverse culture in the work environment
