The Enniskillen Fireworks festival is back with a bang for the first time in four years with Encirc playing a pivotal role in partnership with the Enniskillen Business Improvement District (BID) to see the rocket popping extravaganza return in full this Hallowe’en.

This superb community event is sure to be welcomed by all in Fermanagh and visitors from afar.

Thousands used to descend upon Enniskillen to see the night sky around Enniskillen reverberate in a cacophony of noise and light up in splashes of colour but that sadly has been missing for the last four years.

This year, however, Encirc, part of the Vidrala Group, has successfully partnered with Enniskillen BID to revive the fireworks display.

Noelle McAloon, Enniskillen BID Manager, expressed her enthusiasm about the partnership and the event’s return.

“We are delighted to work with Encirc to bring back the fireworks display,” Noelle said. “Encirc is a forward-thinking company, and their vision and support for the local community have enabled BID to reinstate this beloved Enniskillen event.”

Noelle pointed out that the fireworks display will not only provide entertainment but also support local businesses by attracting visitors to the area. Restaurants, cafes, hotels, and other hospitality venues are expected to benefit greatly from the influx of visitors, providing a much-needed boost to the local economy.

Encirc’s involvement has been pivotal in making this possible.

Encirc’s Managing Director Sean Murphy said: “We are delighted to be sponsoring the fireworks display this year and it is great to collaborate with Enniskillen BID to ensure their return. It promises to be a fantastic evening for all the community, and it is important to us all at Encirc that we support events that can have a real social impact in our district.”

He added: “Looking forward, we need a solution that will need to involve local businesses and all stakeholders to ensure the long-term viability of a project and others like it, that provide a great boost to our community and local businesses. We cannot simply let these events disappear.”

Sustainability Director at Encirc, Fiacre O’Donnell who attended the launch on Monday, said: “The reaction to the news of the fireworks returning on social media over the last 24 hours has been quite incredible which just shows how important they are to this community.

“Noelle and the team at BID have great plans and we are looking forward to supporting the event in every way possible.”
