Encirc named Diageo Supplier of the Year 2023 for the second time in three years
Encirc has been named Diageo Global Supplier of the Year for the second time in three years with the company’s Managing Director Adrian Curry saying the award is a “huge boost” for the business.
Encirc was one of eight overall award winners announced recently at Diageo’s third Global Brand Supply Procurement Supplier Awards. The coveted awards recognise and celebrate the outstanding contributions external partners make to the Diageo business, thereby helping the company grow their brands in the last year.
Encirc’s Adrian Curry says the accolade “is a huge boost for the business” and a very fitting “thank you” for the entire Encirc workforce.
He said: “It was great news to learn of the award win and we are delighted that Diageo has recognised the innovative approach we put in to giving our customers the very best service possible.
“It is important recognition of the fact that the high standards we demand are continually delivered, this being the second time in three years we have won their Supplier of the Year award. This award from a company of the standing of Diageo means a lot and is a fitting testimony to the hard work of our entire workforce.”
Adrian added: “The accolade is also testament to our work with Diageo and Glass Futures on our decarbonisation plans for the business and the industry.”
Rob Turvey, Sales & Marketing Director at Encirc added: “We were finalists in three additional different categories but I believe it was our overall package on several fronts that may have sealed our overall win of this prestigious accolade. We bring a ‘yes can do’ attitude to business and I think that resonated with Diageo. This is a massive pat on the back for our 2,200 workforce, we continually say that we make brands not simply glass containers and this customer-centric approach is just part of what may have set us apart from all others.”
