Beverage Investment

Press Release
December 2017

Elton’s new giant beverage storage vessels are now in full operation. A dozen new tankers were installed outside the Beverages facility earlier in the spring this year. They will be used to hold more wine on site and are part of ongoing investment at Elton to support Encirc in meeting increasing customer demand.

The new storage capability means Encirc can increase the amount of beverages it stores on site by 66 per cent, and will go a long way towards helping us process far greater quantities of wine, improve sequencing and reduce changeover time on bottling lines.

Since the vats have been installed, our teams have been busy upgrading the computer software to ensure everything works smoothly.

Here’s a look at the first of the new beverage vats being lifted into place earlier in the year.
