Trees For Me Success at Beautiful South

This month saw the return of the Wines of the Beautiful South tasting in London, following the great success of the inaugural event last year. Once again, Encirc Wines sponsored the event, which brings together diverse winemakers from South Africa, Argentina and Chile to showcase the best wines each of those regions has to offer.

This year was particularly exciting for the Encirc Wines team as we were unveiling our new carbon-offsetting campaign, Trees For Me.

The aim behind Trees For Me, was to give attendees the chance to offset their carbon emissions by signing up to plant a tree at the Encirc sites in Derrylin and Elton. The Encirc Wines Zone, which was kitted out with real trees, garden benches and our specially-designed Encirc Wines bags for life, was busy with visitors throughout the two days, who were all looking to be green and offset their carbon from travelling to the show.

There was strong interest in Trees For Me, and we finished the final day with more than 80 businesses signed up.

For us, the highlight of the show had to be meeting so many different people who all had such enthusiastic things to say about Trees For Me. We would like to thank all those who signed up and we’ll be continuing this campaign into the future, so watch this space for more information.
