The International Sparkling Wine Symposium Visits Encirc Wines
The International Sparkling Wine Symposium (ISWS) is an annual event that brings together industry professionals – especially those dealing with sparkling wine – to share winemaking and marketing experience and discuss best practice. Now preparing for its third event, the conference will see winemakers, marketers, buyers, wine students and journalists flock to Denbies Wine Estate in Surrey for two days of talks and presentations from the industry’s experts.
This year’s symposium will focus on the latest innovations in production, processing and packing. With this in mind, the team behind ISWS paid Encirc Wines a visit to find out more about our specialist bottling capabilities.
John Worontschak and Rachel Child, who both sit on the organising committee for the ISWS, spent the day at our Cheshire plant, enjoying a site tour and learning how bulk bottling fits within the beverage supply chain. As well as being guided round our warehouse and bottling hall, Rachel and John had the chance to talk with our experts about advances in bulk shipping and bottling at destination, and the role it plays in the UK’s drinks market.
Following the visit, we were delighted to be invited to speak at this year’s event as experts in bulk bottling and contract packing. The 2013 symposium will be taking place at the beginning of December, so look out for more later on in the year.
